There’s something about that big water that calms us, brings joy, humbles us, refreshes us, even tends to us. I personally think the big lake is a place where heaven intersects. Maybe you do, too. Or maybe your heavenly lake is another one elsewhere, where your family cabin is or one in the mountains you hike to and you experience all of those good heart shifts in that place.
